Peanut Butter & Banana Pie
Ingredients:
22 Oreo cookies, crushed
¼ cup of unsalted butter (1/2 stick) at room temperature
2 medium bananas, sliced
2 4 ounce packages of instant chocolate pudding mix
3 cups of milk
Whipped Topping
Instructions:
Mix softened butter with the crushed cookies to make the pie crust. Press into a 9 pie plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Once it is set, spread the peanut butter over the cookie crust and arrange the banana slices over the peanut butter. On low speed, blend the milk and pudding mix (about 1 minute) and pour over the bananas.
Refrigerate for an hour or two so the pudding can set up and, just before serving, spread the whipped topping over the entire pie. Garnish with additional cookie crumbs or whole cookies around the edges if desired.
