Worms for Brains
8 to 10 medium sweet orange peppers
1 package (16 ounces) spaghetti
1 pound ground beef
1 jar (26 ounces) spaghetti sauce
Wash the peppers and then cut the tops off of them. Set the tops aside. Remove the seeds and membranes from the peppers. On one side of each pepper, cut out a face like a jack-o-lantern. Set the peppers aside.
In a medium pan, cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Cook and drain the ground beef in a large pan or Dutch oven until it is no longer pink. Carefully drain the fat from the ground beef.
Drain the spaghetti after it has cooked the allotted time. Add the ground beef and then pour in the spaghetti sauce. Continue cooking the spaghetti until the sauce is heated through. Remove the pan from the stove and then spoon the spaghetti evenly into the prepared peppers. Add back the tops of the peppers and serve.
