Whole Wheat Hot Wings
Ingredients
1/3 c whole-wheat bread crumbs
8 oz boneless, skinless chicken, cut into bite-size chunks
2 Tbsp hot sauce
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp black pepper
Nonstick spray
quart size ziplock bag (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray.
Add bread crumbs & dry seasonings to ziplock bag. Alternately add them to a bowl. Mix well.
In a separate bowl, add the chicken pieces and hot sauce. Stir to coat.
Working a few at a time, add chicken pieces to ziplock bag and give them a shake to coat. Place breaded pieces on cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes. Flip chicken over and bake for an additional 7 minutes or until cooked through.
