Beer Shrimp
2 Packages (12 oz each) frozen quick-cooking shrimp
1 can (12 oz) beer
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. fresh chives, chopped
Combine all ingredients into a 2-quart microwave safe casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high, stirring a couple of times during cooking, for 12 minutes or until shrimp are opaque. Drain all but 1/2 cup of liquid before serving.
